We only want the best for ourselves. We don’t want to put ourselves in danger as much as possible. Unknowingly, we are doing something that is putting ourselves at risk and in bad shape. So what are these things we do that is making it worst for our body?
We’ll list down some things and you might be surprised since you yourself are doing it usually.
1. Sleep deprivation. We should at least sleep 8hours a day. We need to give our body enough rest to recover and relax. If were sleep deprived the tendency is our body will not recover fully after tiring activity, we cannot focus and concentrate in everything we do and we become more sleepy or tend to fall asleep during the day. It can also make our brain shrink. You know what it means when our brain shrinks, our memory, judgment, and everything that is related to using our brain will be affected.
2. Not Eating Breakfast. Most of us can relate to this activity. Busy individuals tend to skip breakfast due to the fact they don’t want to be late, they don’t have time to make breakfast, or they don’t want to eat breakfast. And that’s one of the worst things they do for their body. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It gives you the enough energy you need for the morning. We all know that most of our activities happen in the morning and we need enough energy to keep up with the demand. If we don’t eat breakfast, most of our decisions will be affected. We can’t concentrate and focus and we might pass out due to the low glucose level in the body. It is best to eat our breakfast daily to survive the day.
3. Not drinking water. Water gives life. Water helps get rid of toxins and body waste and keeps you well hydrated. We need water in our life to continue living. It is best to keep water containers near you or at places where you always stay, in your room, desk and bag. It helps transport oxygen throughout t our body organs plus protecting it. It is best to quench our thirst with water than drinking other unhealthy beverages. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day will provide hydration that our body needs.
4. Wearing wrong type and size of the shoe. Our feet are our support and body foundation. It is right to provide good quality and comfortable pair of shoes to our feet for its protection and comfort. If you wear the wrong pair of shoes, it can lead to foot pain and can also affect the whole body. You can’t work properly if you have an injured foot. You can’t run, walk and do every task that needs movement.
5. Smoking cigarette. We don’t need to prove how smoking is not good for our body. It has all the chemicals our body should not experience. It can cause other problems related to our respiratory system, and circulation. It takes a toll on our health. We don’t want to be sickly and weak during our lifetime right? As early as now, quit smoking and start to love your lungs and keep your body healthy.
Our body is our temple. We dwell in this place and we own our body. It is our duty to preserve and keep it away from harm and danger. Stay away from things that make your body feel worst and unhealthy to sustain long and healthy life.
