One woman once asked a doctor about her often urinary infections. She doesn’t want to take pills because she cannot afford to buy. She asked the doctor what to do to ease her pain.
This is the answer of the doctor. Many women has UTIs or Urinary Tract Infection. The infected areas are bladder and urinary tract (urethra).
Here are the most common causes of UTI are: (1) lack of water, (2) incorrect washing of the vagina and (3) always holding back your urine.
What are the symptoms of UTI? Someone people don’t really experience a specific symptom, you’re lucky if you have the same experience. 1. For three days take antibiotics. Buy amoxicillin which is the cheapest antibiotic in the market. Make sure to buy 500 mg and take it three times a day. If you want the cheapest brand you can buy the generics, it only costs five to ten pesos per tablet. Drink the amoxicillin until your UTI is gone. You can also take a stronger type of amoxicillin which is the ciprofloxacin, 500 mg and take it twice a day.
2. Drink 8 to 12 glasses of water a day. You need to drink plenty of water to reduce the bacteria in the urine. Water is the best prevention for this kind of infection.
How to prevent UTI?
1. As mentioned, drink 8 to 12 of water throughout the day. Regularly drink 1 or 2 glasses of water before meals.
2. Do not hold your urine. Go to the bathroom immediately.
3. After urinating make sure you wash your vagina.
4. After purge, you must keep in mind that you need to clean and dry your butt as well. Careful in washing your butt for it might go to your vagina. This may also cause UTI.
5. After sex, you must urinate. Do not sleep immediately after sex for this may cause infection that can travel to your gall bladder. The doctor call this Honeymoon Cystitis.
6. There is nothing wrong with drinking coconut juice or cranberry juice. It may also help you to prevent UTI.
Simple preventions to avoid UTI, (1) drink plenty of fluids, and (2) urinate regularly. Always keep in mind that prevention is better than cure. Be healthy, drink always and eat right foods.
