    Who’s not excited for summer? I don’t think that person even exists. It’s like, for real? Summer is the time of the year when your only sole focus is to relax, enjoy and have fun. It’s the time of the year when you take your deserved rest after working, studying and all stress related activities. Summer is the hottest time of the year and a lot of activities happen during those sweat drenching times. In this article, I present some 5 easy steps to get your summer body ready.

    Here are 5 easy steps on how to get summer body ready

    1. Get hydrated. As I’ve said, summer is the hottest time of the year. Most of the time, you will sweat out a good amount of fluids that might cause you dehydration if you’ll not keep up with the loss. How to stay hydrated? Drink water! Nothing beats the elixir of life. Make drinking water a habit more during summer. Eat some fruits with high water content like watermelon, melon, and pineapple. Limit the intake of carbonated drinks that makes you feel more dehydrated and bloated.


    2. Stay out with high-calorie food. Foods with the high amount of fat, salt, and sugar, add more heat in your body. These appetizing foods add more pounds which I doubt you’ll love to gain during summer. We all want to look fit and fabulous to our summer picture as we wear our summer outfit of the day.

    3. Get some rest by catching some Z’s. You heard me right; Sleep is an important step to get your body ready for summer. Why? We all know we’ve been harsh to our body before summer with all those sleepless nights, body tiring activities, plus our bad eating habits and vices that makes our body suffer from external and internal factors. It’s the best time to give our body the much needed rest they deserve. Let our body rejuvenate and gain the needed energy to enjoy the long summer break.

    4. Wear fresh and comfortable outfit. Keep all those fur coat, long sleeves, sweaters, and thick clothing back to your closet. It’s time to pick out your summer dress, skirts, shorts, cotton clothes, and thin layer clothing that’s more comfortable and refreshing to wear for this season. It’s not because that’s the outfit for summer, but because it is practically the best type of clothing to wear during this heated season.

    5. Buy some good product sunscreen. Tanned skin may look sexy and fabulous, but too much exposure to sunlight may harm your skin. Sun’s UV rays speeds up aging process of your skin and worst it may trigger skin cancer. Pick higher SPF content and apply abundantly to the exposed skin. Its best to protect our body from sunburns as it may cause irritation and you’ll regret it after enjoying summer.

    Preparing your travel plans for summer gives you all the excitement and you always look forward to it. It’s common to feel that way. But let’s not forget about our body.
