    Having cholesterol in our body is a normal thing. Our liver produces cholesterol for it is needed for cell function, hormones, and nerves.     2. Choose tomatoes. Tomatoes have a large amount of lycopene an antioxidant that can help metabolize cholesterol in the body. Cooking tomatoes for 30 minutes increase the amount of lycopene in tomatoes. Now we know, tomatoes are not only used to mix with eggs for your breakfast but it has the needed antioxidant that could help people with high cholesterol.

    3. Drink Tea. Some may know that tea has cancer-fighting antioxidants in, addition, it also has contains a great defense for bad cholesterol. The increase consumption of tea decreases the level of bad cholesterol in our body to prevent complications caused by high cholesterol level. It also washes away toxins out from the body.

    4. Eat Citrus fruits. This is a good source of Pectin. Pectin is a soluble fiber that lowers bad cholesterol (LDL). Eating these types of fruits washes away toxins as well as the bad cholesterol that builds up in our blood streams. Fruits do not only make a good dessert but a good health aide.

    5. Yummy chocolates. Who doesn’t love chocolates? It contains a lot of antioxidants that can prevent blood platelets from clumping together. Preventing platelets from clumping can assure the continuous blood flow. Good circulation is needed by our body to function effectively. Most of the time when there is an increase in cholesterol, platelet tends to stuck in the cholesterol thus making it possible to block the blood flow.
