The “ Tubig at Langis” star Zanjoe Marudo finally broke his silence about the issue on the status of his relationship with Bea Alonzo. Last night, Wednesday at Tonight with Boy Abunda, Marudo confirmed that he had broken up with Alonzo. When asked by the host Boy Abunda,he was emotional to admit that his five-year relationship with the actress has ended and the long-rumored break up was true.
Abunda asked Marudo on how he is coping with his failed relationship, he said there’s no easy way and he really needs to pass on the process of break up. The host said he knew that Marudo is still in pain and he apologized for even asking the question and added to just pray anyway everybody somehow experienced such.
It was reported last Saturday that Manager Ogie Diaz confirmed the break up of the two stars. Both stars have called it quits. Diaz mentioned on his radio program that Bea has separated ways with Marudo but he refused to give details about the said break up. Rumors started when the two started taking trip abroad separately. Marudo was spotted in Paris last week, while Alonzo was in Japan for vacation.
Alonzo mentioned in her past interview that the cause of the problems in their relationship was the lack of time for each other. They were both busy in their careers and this stemmed the problem that led to break up. She didn’t have a perfect relationship with the actor, Alonzo said.
Marudo and Alonzo had been in relationship for more than five years. Back in October 2011 when Alonzo admitted in public her relationship with Marudo the ex-boyfriend of actress-host Mariel Rodrigues, who is now married to the famous action star Robin Padilla. The two showbiz icons experienced different controversies in their long relationship and at this time it came to an end.
